From Nashville to APAC, AutoStore brought together industry leaders to discuss automation, resilience, and scalable solutions in modern supply chains.
Salem, New Hampshire, July, 2025 – AutoStore™ recently completed a multi-continent Arena series that brought together customers, partners, and supply chain leaders to explore the evolving demands of global fulfillment. Kicking off in Nashville and continuing across Korea, Japan, and Australia, the events provided regional perspectives on automation, scalability, and resilience in the face of accelerating disruption.
The series began in Nashville, where AutoStore welcomed representatives from brands such as Best Buy, Crocs, CVS, PUMA, Ferguson, Petco, and Caterpillar for an immersive one-and-a-half-day event. The discussions centered on fulfillment strategies built to withstand labor shortages, economic uncertainty, and shifting customer expectations. Attendees from across the Americas joined to explore how automation can act as a key enabler of supply chain resilience and operational growth.
“At AutoStore, our focus is helping customers build fulfillment operations that are adaptable, reliable, and scalable while maintaining consistent service and leveraging cutting-edge technology,” said Mike Dickson, President, Americas at AutoStore. “As we heard firsthand from leading brands at our U.S. Arena Event in Nashville, automation is no longer a luxury; it’s a strategic imperative. We’re proud to partner with our customers to deliver the tools they need to stay resilient, responsive, and ready for whatever comes next.”
The Nashville agenda included expert-led sessions on fire safety, floor remediation, and high-performance fulfillment design, as well as live interviews with supply chain leaders and demonstrations of AutoStore’s robotics system in action. Attendees were given a close-up view of how automation delivers operational efficiency while reducing complexity and space usage.
"Peak season is always a really challenging time for us, and AutoStore has helped us scale efficiently without adding complexity."
Following the U.S. event, AutoStore extended the Arena series to Korea, Japan, and Australia. Each gathering was shaped by regional priorities but connected through a shared commitment to listening, learning, and solving real-world supply chain challenges together. While the Nashville event emphasized resilience in the face of disruption, the APAC events surfaced themes of scalability, fulfillment agility, and the value of long-term technology partnerships.
Across all locations, three key takeaways emerged:
The Arena events also reflected the strength of the AutoStore community – a global network of customers, integration partners, employees, and technology collaborators. These gatherings weren’t just about showcasing automation; they were about fostering open dialogue, building relationships, and co-creating better solutions for a rapidly evolving industry.
The Nashville event also marked a major company milestone: AutoStore surpassed 300 installed systems in North America, now operated by more than 21,000 robots. These systems power daily operations for businesses across sectors including e-commerce, electronics, healthcare, and automotive.
“Peak season is always a really challenging time for us, and AutoStore has helped us scale efficiently without adding complexity,” said Connor Daigle, Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Projects at PUMA North America. “The system adapts to fluctuating volumes, which has been critical for maintaining service levels and stability, even during unpredictable demand surges.”
AutoStore systems provide up to four times the storage capacity of traditional setups and enable the fastest order fulfillment per square foot. With 99.8% uptime, they help reduce dependency on manual labor while supporting workplace safety and space optimization.
“At Best Buy, our purpose is to enrich lives through technology, and delivering consistent, high-quality service is essential to that mission. AutoStore has been a reliable partner in helping us maintain speed and accuracy across our fulfillment network. The system’s ability to scale and adapt has played a key role in strengthening our resilience and enabling us to meet shifting customer expectations,” said Michael Ridgway, Director of Supply Chain Engineering, Automation and Innovation at Best Buy.
With over 1,700 systems installed globally and a vast network of integration partners, AutoStore is well-positioned to help customers maintain fulfillment continuity, scale efficiently, and meet the demands of modern commerce—regardless of region.
As automation shifts from a competitive advantage to a business necessity, AutoStore remains committed to empowering brands to move faster, operate smarter, and stay ready for what’s next.
