FlexBins helps you manage these workflows inside one AutoStore Grid by allowing different Bin types to be stored in the same system. That means you can support picking, buffering, returns, kitting, and case handling without moving products between separate storage setups.

Consider a kitting operation where parts stored in 220- and 330-mm Bins are retrieved from one system, assembled, packed into a case, and returned to the same Grid. This helps keep the workflow in one place, reduces manual handoffs, and makes kitting more efficient.
