AutoStore™ Announces New General Counsel Position

As a result of growth in the number and breadth of legal aspects AutoStore handles on an operational and strategic basis, the company has created a new general counsel (GC) position.
This role will lead the establishment and operation of the legal function in AutoStore and support the business on all relevant legal issues. The GC will head the legal support on commercial transactions and corporate legal matters, including international contract law, legal disputes, and compliance activities oversight. The position will also find an efficient and more holistic way to deal with everyday legal matters ranging from general contractual law to labor and patent law in a cost and capabilities effective way.
The role will be reporting to the CEO Karl Johan Lier, and will be part of the Executive Management Team.
Jenny Sveen Hovda has been recruited for the position and now joins the AutoStore team. Previously, Hovda served as a partner at Bull & Co., a Norwegian-based law firm specializing in innovation, technology, software, and IP. She has more than 10 years experience working on innovation, tech, software, IP, customer scaling on a global basis, and international contracts.
